This 15 year old just won $75,000 for developing a test for pancreatic cancer that’s over 90 percent accuracy, and 28 times faster, 28 times less expensive and over 100 times more sensitive than current tests.

Very cool chart about controlling cravings!
This is the June edition of Vogue Italia. I picked it up on a recent trip to Italy. The front cover, as you can see, features three beautiful models. Another thing about these models that you may have noticed, is that they are not sickly-thin. They’re curvy and fabulous and sexy. The cover article of this issue was a collection of write-ins about how women wanted more variety in their fashion magazines. “We’re tired of sickly-thin all the time!” Seemed to be the consensus.
There were ads for jeans that said things like “Curvy is UP!” and “It’s about shape, not size.”
The France, Spain, and American editions of Vogue have not yet gotten the memo, but I’m sure we’ll soon see progress in those versions as well.
The fashion world seriously needs to get over this obsession with skinny, and I’m glad to see this beginning. Healthy girls need to see healthy women in magazines.
